This young man is in my Sunday School class. He was bored one day and decided to make a video. You know the kind, the silly ones that have no real meaning. The ones that you plan on recording over because someday there will be something better to do.

Who really EVER has a video camera on when you want to capture that extremely funny moment.

Hurricane Time!

We are in the mist of hurricane season!

Hurricane Bill. He isn't on land but he is raining on our parade as we speak. Our beach day is rainy, and waves that are normally 1-2 feet high are now supposed to be 15 feet. Many people are heading to the beach just to watch. (not me I hate the beach) We are not, plans have been changed and changed again.

Hurricane Girls Camp. The girls got back from camp yesterday. With that comes laundry, putting away all the camping supplies, and other various items associated with a week of camp. In reality girls camp is really girls Marriott. They are in cabins the whole week, have someone cook for them and if I remember correctly have a whole lot of free time!

Hurricane Arizona. Now that the girls are home they must get all things together for their trip to AZ. Packing way too much, is high on the list of 140 mile an hour winds. We leave from church tomorrow after a baptism of a sweet little girl who used to be in one of my primary classes. We must "fly" to NYC an hour away to get the girls there for their flight. Lets hope that Hurricane Bill doesn't have other ideas for Airline Departures.

Hurricane School follows close behind the girls return. Orientations, school supplies and new clothes are all in the eye of that hurricane. Luckily I have a week to take a deep breath before we have to deal with that!

Last This Is The Last Post Tonight...Maybe!

Tonight we go to Young Women's camp.

It is a Church Camp for girls ages 12-18!

There is a Presidency of Young Women called. They are bright and spiritual girls who want to serve their fellow sisters.They are beautiful, charming, funny Young Women and I know that for sure because of the 4 girls I know 3!!! So if 3/4 of them ar beautiful and charming odds are great the 4th will be too!

Thursday is a very special night!

It is a mixture of spirituality and fun!

Bishopric Races come first!

Then parents come and eat a WONDERFUL dinner. I must say I am lucky enough once again to know the "cooks". Thanks Debra...Thanks Lynette...Yummy! As Always!

After dinner there is a program and then we are led to a beautiful bon fire by the lake!

The girls in the Presidency dressed as lamanites of old, begin a beautiful story of love and courage from a young lamanite girl. This sweet girl finds a baby in the river, but she sees she is a child of Lily white skin and she knows her people would not be happy with the child.

I love to hear the story of the young lamanite girls quest to find the child's people! Every year it brings tears to my eyes.

After a beautiful program the girls bear their testimonies to those they have camped with.

EVERY Year I am impresses with the testimonies these girls have! Some are strong and some just budding, but I know without a shadow of a doubt they are our future leaders!

My girls LOVE IT!

I am glad they do!!!

My adorable girls left for girls camp this morning!

I love to blog I really do! Unfortunatly every day of my life is not an exotic barrel of fun!

I have beautiful daughters. I love to spend time with them, but I wish I had blogging as a outlet when I had small children. They said the cutest things!

Ok they still say cute things, but somehow "mommy, I have to go potty, NOW!" doesnt sound as cute coming from a 17 year old!

I do have things going on in my life, REALLY I do! But are they the exciting fun things you would like to hear about every day?

For instance the whole teaching thing.

Each day I get up, (I do get to sleep in, positive of no small children in the house! whoo hoo!)

AND...

• fill out some paperwork or make some phone calls.
• Get frustrated because I found out something different than what they said last time
• Feel stupid because I dont understand what the Dumb web site says!
• Wonder should I just give up? Maybe if I cant even get the certificate, maybe I wont be a great teacher!

Now I am pretty positive that is not what you want to hear! So I wait for something more exciting, and BAM it has been a couple of weeks no post!

Help! Guess this is gonna have to do for a couple of weeks! My girls are gonna leave me for girls camp and Az. Then I will have no one to cry to!
